This Privacy Policy explains how Roc & Drop Laundry ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Roc & Drop mobile app and website (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to provide laundry pickup and delivery:

• Account details — your name, email address, and phone number when you create an account.
• Pickup & delivery details — the addresses you save, your order details, and any notes you leave for the driver.
• Payment information — payments are processed by our payment provider (Square). We do not store your full card number on our servers.
• Delivery photos — drivers may take a photo at drop-off as proof of delivery, which is attached to your order.

How we use your information

• To schedule, complete, and deliver your laundry orders.
• To let you and your assigned driver contact each other about an active order.
• To process payments and keep a record of your orders.
• To provide customer support and improve the Service.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the Service:

• Your driver — sees your name, address, order details, notes, and phone number so they can pick up and deliver.
• Service providers — our database/hosting provider (Supabase) and payment provider (Square), who process data on our behalf.
• Legal — if required by law or to protect our rights and users' safety.

Contacting your driver

When you tap "Call" or "Text" on an active order, the app opens your phone's own dialer or messaging app. Communication then happens through your phone carrier, not through us.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your account and order history while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the app (Account → Delete account), which removes your profile and order history from our system. To request deletion another way, contact us at the email below.

Security

Your data is stored with industry-standard providers and protected in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
